Our history
The foundation for Häcker's corporate history was laid back in 1898 when Hermann Häcker founded a joinery in Rödinghausen. His passion for quality craftsmanship and his attention to detail have been passed down from generation to generation ever since. In 1938, Friedrich Häcker took over the management until 1965, when his son-in-law Horst Finkemeier took over the joinery. Together with his wife Renate, he laid the foundation for today's economic success through the series production of kitchen furniture. In 1996, his son, Jochen Finkemeier, joined the management. Since then, a lot has happened in terms of innovation: from the introduction of the systemat and concept130 product lines to the construction of factories 3, 4 and 5 and the introduction of BLAUPUNKT as the exclusive own brand for built-in kitchen appliances. Häcker is proud to be a traditional, owner-managed family business that makes the kitchen dreams of many people around the world come true with heart and soul and expertise.

Our work is characterised by attention to detail - from the perfectly smooth lacquered front to the environmentally friendly plinth base made from 100% recycled plastic. With our 5 factories and a production area of 223,500 m², we have spacious and state-of-the-art production facilities where around 1,000 kitchens are manufactured with precision and efficiency every day. In addition, we have an administrative area of 25,000 m², which acts as the organisational heart of our company. A showroom area of 3,800 m² invites you to explore our innovative kitchen solutions live and experience our variety of designs, materials and compositions first-hand. With over 2,000 employees, we form a highly motivated team of talented designers, craftsmen and experts who, with their great commitment, make Häcker what it is every day: the place where kitchen dreams come true.
Awards and certificates
Häcker is proud of its certificates and awards: These include the GS mark for tested safety (TÜV Rheinland), the Golden M of the Deutsche Gütergemeinschaft Möbel e.V. (DGM) for high quality, environmental and emission standards, as well as the official award as a climate-neutral company. In addition, we have the PEFC seal of approval, which confirms the origin of our wood products from sustainably managed forests, the RAL label "Made in Germany", which not only certifies the origin of our products, but also the fulfilment of quality criteria such as innovation, durability and healthy living. We also meet not only the new E05 emissions standard, but also the demanding U.S. Standards TSCA Title VI. These certificates confirm the commitment to quality, sustainability and safety that we have dedicated ourselves to as a kitchen manufacturer.
Sustainability
As a family business, Häcker is committed to sustainability and social responsibility. We are a kitchen manufacturer that focuses on sustainable action in all areas. From the use of renewable raw materials and recycled materials to ecological projects and the longevity of our kitchens, we are actively committed to climate and species protection. For example, we also support international renewable energy projects such as wind and water power. Our kitchens are manufactured in a climate-neutral and energy-efficient manner and are certified healthy to live in.
